Installing a manufactured home
An inspection must take place after the manufactured home is installed and before it can be occupied. Complete the application, including a floor plan of the unit, and a sketch of the unit showing distances from the street to the unit, from the unit to adjacent units, and the size and location of the patio, parking spaces, and shed.

Selling a manufactured home
Minnesota state law requires an inspection of a manufactured home before it can be sold.

For either type of inspection, submit the completed application to the Building Inspections Department between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
