To qualify for the homestead market value exclusion, you must meet all of the following requirements:

Obtain the Homestead Application online. You may also call the Assessing Department at 763-767-6446 and ask that an application form be mailed to you or pick an application form up in person at the City of Coon Rapids Assessing Department:

Drop off or mail the completed application along with a copy of the deed and copy of the Certificate of Real Estate Value to City of Coon Rapids Assessing Department.
All of the owners, and if the property is not owner occupied, all of the owners' relatives occupying the property must sign an initial homestead application.
The City will forward your application, Deed and Certificate of Real Estate Value to Anoka County.
