Coon Rapids parks contain:

• 2 full-size football fields
• 6 full-size soccer fields
• 10 full-size hockey rinks including a full-size indoor sheet of ice at Coon Rapids Ice Arena
• 24 tennis courts
• 31 basketball courts
• 50 softball and baseball fields

Practice & Field Use Policy

Practices are discouraged during each sport specific season at Sand Creek Park, Al Flynn Park, the Soccer Complex, and Wintercrest Park. Field use is restricted to game play only to reduce field wear and unsafe conditions. Some of the smaller neighborhood parks contain ballfields and other large multi-purpose areas for a wide range of sport activity on a first-come, first-serve basis.
